1) Title Page /5 point -Is it in APA format? -Is the right information included?

2) Abstract /10 points -Is it in APA format? -Does it summarize the lit review? -Is it 120 words or less?

3) Lit Review /30 points -Is it clear why the topic is important? -Is the topic introduced in the first paragraph and then elaborated on? -Is it easy to follow? -Does the concluding paragraph of the lit review wrap-up the main research findings?

4) Aims of the Study /10 points

-Are research questions and predictions made? -Do the questions and predictions logically follow from the lit review?

5) Method Section /30 points

-Are proposed participants described? -Are measures (suitable for addressing the research questions) described? -Are procedures discussed? -Is it in APA style?

6) Reference Page /5 points -Do citations in the paper match up with references? -Is the reference page in APA style? -Are 6+ references included? -Are references from peer-reviewed Psychology journals or book chapters?

7) Writing Style /10 points -Is the paper well-written and clear? -Are there spelling or grammar problems? -Is the paper well organized? TOTAL GRADE / 100 points
