Assignment 2: Case Study
Description: For this assessment task you will demonstrate your learning by analysing and assessing theories, issues, influences and processes impacting on a selected individual's development and behaviour.
You are to either:
a/ choose one member of the Bartlett family and analyse the way they experience the events occurring in the family, and the ways these events have impacted on them. You can choose any member of the family including ones not examined in depth e.g. Kate or Tony’s parents. (Note The Bartletts are a case study we analyse during the semester.) Note – you have a creative license to add more detail about your family member and context but you cannot change the event.
With both options you are expected to draw on a range of theories (minimum of 3) discussed during the semester to enhance your analysis and demonstrate your learning. You are also required to consider how Harm’s Multidimensional framework applies to the person.

Due date: Week 13, Friday June 2, 11.59 pm (23:59 pm). Submit using turnitin accessed via assessment folder in Blackboard
Assessment Output: A written case study (no more than 2,000 words – not including references and appendices) with the following sections: Introduction, Body, Conclusion. (See suggested outlined on the next page).
Total assessment weighting 60% of the total unit mark

NB: It is strongly recommended that you actively participate in all the tutorials as well as complete the outside task in the time set out in order to give yourself the best success in Assignment 2.
