What is your motivation for earning a doctoral degree?

I currently have a Master of Nursing Degree with a Concentration in Education. I have to write essay covering questions listed below. The doctorate degree I will be working on is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and this is what the essay will be about.

Part II: Write a short essay in response to the following three questions:

1. What is your motivation for earning a doctoral degree?

2. What do you envision doing differently when your degree is complete?

3. The doctoral journey requires students to manage deadlines, demonstrate autonomy, engage in ownership of their own learning and demonstrate resourcefulness. Describe your plan for success as it pertains to these areas.
