A 10.0 L container contains a mixture of 0.50 mole of H2 (2g/mole) and 0.50 mile of SO2 (64g/mole) at 25 degrees celsius. The container has pinhole leak. After a period of time:1) the partial pressures of the two gases remain equal through out this time. 2) the partial pressure of SO2 exceeds that of H2 in the remaining gas. 3)the partial pressure of H2 exceeds that of SO2 in the remaining gas. Please explain the answer as to why or what rule?
