I have this assignment where I need to chose a series of numbers ranging from 0.050 – 0.500 and need to give my responses using the same number of significant figures as reported in that range. Would the overall number of significant figures for my calculations be 2 or 3?

If it were 2 sig figs how would I write 101 mL?
