Create a lesson plan to be executed in a traditional setting. Use the "COE Lesson Plan Template" and make sure your lesson plan reflects use of andragogy and technology. Your lesson plan needs to be in your content area and must include a standard from your SPA. Make sure your lesson is aligned. Your lesson plan must include evidence of personalized learning for a student in your class who is an English learner, a student who is gifted, and a student who qualifies for accommodations for dyslexia.
Differentiated learning and personalized learning are terms that are often used interchangeably. In a postsecondary setting, you will be expected to personalize your lessons and differentiate your instruction, the same as would be required in a K-12 environment. For this lesson plan, you will create a lesson that includes evidence of personalized learning for a variety of students: one who is an English learner, another who is gifted, and a third who qualifies for accommodations because he/she has dyslexia.

To begin, work through the reference list that was created in the "Section B: Problem Description" assignment in Topic 2. . The specific checklist you use will be determined by the type of evidence within the resource.

Develop a research table to organize and summarize the research studies. Using a summary table allows you to be more concise in your narrative description. Only research studies used to support your intervention are summarized in this table. Refer to the "Evaluation Table Template," available in the textbook appendix. Use the "Evaluation Table Template" as an adaptable template.

Write a narrative of 750-1,000 words (not including the title page and references) that presents the research support for the projects problem and proposed solution. Make sure to do the following:Include a description of the search method (e.g., databases, keywords, criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and number of studies that fit your criteria).Summarize all of the research studies used as evidence. The essential components of each study need to be described so that readers can evaluate its scientific merit, including study strengths and limitations.Incorporate a description of the validity of the internal and external research.

It is essential to make sure that the research support for the proposed solution is sufficient, compelling, relevant, and from peer-reviewed professional journal articles.

Although you will not be submitting the checklist information or the evaluation table you design in Topic 3 with the narrative, the checklist information and evaluation table should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.

Dan is a registered nursing student, day 5 of his first-year placement at MyLocalHospital in
Smithplace; his preceptor for today’s morning shift is Registered Nurse Jane.
During an unusually slow morning medication round, Dan noted RN Jane putting in her
pocket paracetamol (Panadol) from the medicine room. RN Jane stated she really needs it as
she only got home at 0330 this morning from a big night out, had a “…shocking hangover
and could barely think”; she said she would be better after morning tea.
RN Jane did appear unwell and Dan had to keep reminding her of each patient and even
pointed out medication discrepancies of those within his scope. Dan was concerned but the
morning got busy with beds to be made before morning tea break.
After lunch RN Jane directed Dan to help her with a complex vacuum dressing on the
buttock of Fred in Bed 11, a blind elderly patient. The wound was odorous and looked
complicated. RN Jane, already ‘unwell’ as disclosed this morning, left the room briefly for
“more supplies”. Dan chatted to the patient and discretely took a couple of photo’s of the
wound as he was intrigued by it and wanted to show his friends (some of which were
nursing students too).
The following screenshot of a Facebook post from Dan, was sent to the lecturer from a
fellow student later that evening.
