Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas:
Review the latest CMMI model on SEI’s Web site or in your book. For the link to SEI’s Web site, please see the Web resources for this week. There is a practice area called Project Planning within the Web site.
There are three specific goals. Two of them are SG1: Establish Estimates, and SG2: Develop a project plan.
- Of these two, describe how you would audit a project for these two goals.
- What would you review, and why?
- What deliverables would you expect (focus on 3–4 key ones)?
- Discuss why these two areas of project planning are important.
