For this post, I would like you to reflect on how the economy and development of a place will impact it’s ability to recover from a violent weather event. Think back to news stories and images of other recent events, for example Hurricane Maria.  Think about a specific weather event and respond to the following prompts:

1. What kind of infrastructure needs to be set in place to effectively deal with such events. Does everyone have access to these resources?

2. And if not, what might the consequences be?
