Students must write a 3 paragraph response to three articles we read from the semester. The first paragraph introduces and summarizes the argument the author is making. The second paragraph is where you introduce the evidence the author uses to defend his/her main argument. Students then enter an outside article they find into the conversation that can be related to original article. Be careful and try to use sources from longstanding, publications that many would consider legitimate, like the New York Times or Washington Post. The final paragraph is where you get to critique the argument.
