4. Miriam overslept and missed the exodus of Moses and the gang out of Egypt. She has tried to catch

up with them by running and walking for 15 hours each day for the last three days. Late one afternoon (5

PM) on day 4, she is spotted by a gang of angry welltrained Egyptian soldiers. To escape them, she

“heads for hills”, and starts running up into the mountains. When she begins running, the environment is very hot (98°F) and dry (Relative Humidity= 9%). However, the elevation will exceed 8000 ft. when she gets to the hills, which means the temperature will begin to drop. She is glad that she has been a hard worker for her 22 years of life. She only hopes that she finds water soon since she has only one pint of water with her. It is now 630 PM and she figures that she can stop running when it gets dark (sunset @ 8:25 pm). Do you think Miriam will survive the next 115 minutes and escape capture? Why or why not? (Note: Dr. Farney thinks that for a grade of ‘B” a graduate student should be able to correctly identify and explain in detail at least 8 possible changes, 7 is ‘C’ work, and an ‘A’ student can easily come up with 10 changes. IN ALL CASES IN DEPTH EXPLANATIONS AS TO WHY THE CHANGE WILL WORK IS REQUIRED)
